Multiply – Multiply in KLAS Care is all about learning through play, we have an ethos of Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy (Dan Hughes) these principles help promote safety in your actions with children, this theory is based on attachment but we have found this works in many different situations when adult and child interactions lead to a disengagement. Learning through play is a great way of creating confidence. Using simple games such as cards, dominos, bingo, darts creates a culture of learning and the need to keep on learning. Through our years of experience in helping adults and children learn together and problem solve together, we see the confidence grow in both parties both in their learning and the ability to ask others for their help. This in itself is a life changing skill that often gets forgotten but leads to a belief that they can not do it.
Have some fun with numbers. With a crèche available, there’s no need to worry about the kids.
